Rangers' Greg Docherty in brilliant interview surprise as he makes Ryan Jack and Allan McGregor fight claim

Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty brilliantly walked in on a podcast being filmed while he was out shopping.

Simon Ferry was filming his Open Goal Keeping The Ball On The Ground podcast at the Bee Inspired Clothing shop in Glasgow when the former Hamilton youngster unexpectedly joined the show.

Ferry, along with regular guests Kevin Kyle and Paul Slane, then took the opportunity to ask the Rangers man a few questions as they were discussing which players they would like to see fight each other.

Ferry asked: "If you could see any two players fight in Scotland, who would it be?"

Docherty replied: "Allan McGregor and Ryan Jack."

Ferry then asked him about his former Accies team-mate and renowned hard-man Darian MacKinnon.

Ferry said: "See Darian MacKinnon, he's a bit of a screwball, eh?"

Docherty responded: "He's actually a good guy, big softie."

The 23-year-old has struggled to force his way into Steven Gerrard 's plans this season, only making five appearances.

Docherty spent last year on loan at Shrewsbury where he put together a string of good performances for the English side, but has unable to breach a strong Rangers midfield of Jack, Steven Davis and Glen Kamara.

You can watch the full episode below with Docherty making an appearance from 54:04 onwards.
