Rangers get FA Cup shoutout as supporter flag appears at Chorley vs Derby clash

Go anywhere in the world and you're bound to bump into somebody who has some connection to Rangers.

Over on social media, there's even a Rangers fan who has set up a Botswana Rangers Supporters Club and you see blue shirts all over the place.

This time it's a bit closer to home that a Rangers flag has popped up, at a behind closed doors game in the FA Cup.

Chorley Town are facing Derby County in the third round and right behind one of the goals, there is a flag with Rangers' name on it.

Lancashire has a lot of Scots who travelled down south over the years and clearly Rangers have stuck with some of them to have a flag at a sixth tier side.

The National League North team have shocked English football by reaching it this far and are currently 1-0 up against a very understrength Derby team.

Wayne Rooney's men have been decimated with Covid-19 cases and have been forced to field their youth side, with an average of 19.

One of those players is Bobby Duncan, the cousin of Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.

Duncan started his career at Liverpool before heading to Italy for Fiorentina and then signed for Derby in the summer.
