Rangers game could come too soon for Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann who is facing injury sweat

Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann could be set to miss Sunday's final day Premiership clash with Rangers.

The Kilmarnock Standard understands he faces a race against time to ensure he is fit for the huge Europa League spot showdown.

He is nursing an ankle injury and will look to ease it up ahead of the huge game.

Should the Austrian stopper fail to make the match, Jamie MacDonald is more than qualified to deputise.

MacDonald was the starting goalkeeper until Bachmann made his debut on November 10 away to Hearts.

Since then, MacDonald has failed to regain the gloves - apart from a Scottish Cup clash against Falkirk.
