A dream move to Rangers may have ended with Greg Docherty knowing he wasn't able to show the best version of himself, but it hasn't defined him.
After all, he had already made over 100 appearances for Hamilton Accies before heading to the club he supported as a boy.
Docherty knew what was needed to become sustainable at a high level and Rangers only served to make him more durable.

Now a key member of the Hull City squad that won promotion to the English Championship last season from League One, Docherty is loving his football.
But he's still got plenty of time for the club that made him who he is today.
