Rangers fringe man poised to leave in loan deal as deal agreed between clubs

Ross McCausland is poised to join Aris Limassol on loan from Rangers.

The Northern Ireland winger is set to become the next exit from Ibrox in this transfer window with a season-long deal taking him to Cyprus, as reported by Rangers Review. He will join ex-teammates Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun.

Russell Martin informed him earlier in the summer that he was free to find another club and he will now put pen to paper in the coming days.

[[Rangers]] have been working on beefing up their options in wide areas and already have Djeidi Gassama in the door in a £2.2million deal from Sheffield Wednesday. The 21-year-old scored on his competitive debut in the Champions League qualifying win over Panathinaikos.

The Ibrox club are also frontrunners to add highly-rated Tottenham Hotspur youngster Mikey Moore on a loan deal for the campaign ahead.

They are also in the mix for Go Ahead Eagles' Finland star Oliver Antman, the Dutch side braced to receive an offer.

Speaking on interest in his players, the English boss said:  "I think we have interest in a fair few of the players, but as and when they go, I don't know.

"I just wait for Kevin to tell me what's going on. And yeah, whilst they're here, they'll be treated with care and respect and professionalism.

"And it might not always be on the terms they want or like, but I think if we're honest with each other and we respect each other and they respect the group, there's not going to be a problem."
