Rangers flop Pedro Caixinha branded 'the biggest fraud going' as Rob Kiernan rips into disastrous Ibrox boss

Former Rangers defender Rob Kiernan has labelled failed Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinha as the "worst I've ever come across".

The 30-year-old was signed by Mark Warburton and was a key man in the side that raced to the Scottish Championship title back in 2015.

But Kiernan was quickly left on the outside looking when the bull-fighting matador swept in to Glasgow as Warburton's replacement in March 2017.

A deluge of stories have since emerged surrounding Caixinha's flop seven-month stay at Ibrox with former players miffed about his credentials and approach to life at Ibrox.

And now Kiernan - who now stars for Rangers affiliate club Orange County - admits he was also instantly dismayed by Caixinha in the immediate aftermath of his opening powerpoint presentation.

Speaking on the Football Daft podcast, the English stopper said: "Miles off it, absolutely miles off it.

"Absolutely the worst I've ever come across. The worst.

"The first day you come in and it's 'we're going to train on a Friday but it would be Tuesday, no one goes in the gym, no gym allowed, do this, do that.

"It was just (exasperated pause).

'I remember he put up a presentation up of where he was (UAE) and he's left this and that you guys should be so lucky I've made this decision.

"He put up a powerpoint presentation of his home, his family and his hotel rooms, what he looked over, I've left this to come to work with you lot, you guys should be praising me.

"I was like 'Jesus Christ'."

When asked by host Grado if he was a fraud, Kieran's answer was unequivocal.

He added: "Yeah, he's a fraud, the biggest fraud going.

"I knew he was going to bring in all his Portuguese guys, I had really bad tendonitis, I was getting through games and stuff but I knew he'd maybe use that as an excuse, because I wasn't allowed to go into the gym and stuff.

"So he put all our stuff down into the U18s changing room. There was seven of us and it was 'you can't eat with us, you can't train with us, you can't use the gym, you can't see the physios, you can't see the masseuses'.

"You play a game on the Saturday and a new manager comes in and you're out the door.

"It's like when a head teacher leaves the class room and everyone is like 'who the f*** is that guy?"
