Rangers fixture rearranged as Livingston clash given midweek date

Rangers' trip to face Livingston has been moved to Wednesday, March 3 after the initial game was shifted due to the Betfred Cup Final.

Livingston will face St Johnstone in the Hampden showpiece on February 28 with Rangers now having a free weekend.

They will now face David Martindale's side at the Tony Macaroni three days later with a 6pm kick-off.

The initial game was due to be shown live on Sky Sports and it will continue to be shown there on that night.

It means Rangers will have a full week to prepare for the game following their Europa League clash with Royal Antwerp at the end of February.

Steven Gerrard's men host the Belgian outfit for the second leg on Thursday, February 25 with the first leg the week before.

Rangers drew 0-0 with Livingston at the Tony Macaroni when the two sides met there earlier this season.

It was a better result for them at Ibrox when Jermain Defoe and Joe Aribo scored to give Rangers a 2-0 victory.
