Ryan Jack and Filip Helander will be held back from Rangers Europa League clash with Lech Poznan.
Ibrox manager Steven Gerrard has decided to keep the two stars out of the game given his side have already qualified for the last 32.
While matching Benfica's result against Standard Liege will see his charges qualify in first place and see them seeded in the next round, the manager is also clearly looking ahead to a challenge on Sunday against sixth place Dundee United.
Helander has been self-isolating for 10 days after testing positive for coronvirus while Jack picked up an injury during his side's 4-0 win over Aberdeen on November 22 and has missed Rangers' last four fixtures.
And Gerrard has decided not to keep the pair for what will be a tough game at the weekend.
He said: "No fresh injuries. We have made a decision on Helander and Jack to be patient and keep them for the weekend.
"Cedric (Itten) got a kick at the weekend but is progressing."v
One player that will get game time in Poland is South African new boy Bongani Zungu as he looks to add to his four minutes of European action so far.
He said: "Bongani will be playing tomorrow and it is a fantastic opportunity for him to perform."
