Rangers first blow it, then comeback for win in 10th

ARLINGTON, Texas _ The Rangers scored three times in the bottom of the 10th inning to come back and beat the Athletics, 5-4. Rougned Odor was hit by a pitch to drive in the winning run.

Adrian Beltre was intentionally walked by reliever Marc Rzepczynski to load the bases before Odor's at-bat. He was hit by the first pitch he saw. Carlos Beltran's two-run single to center field tied the game at 4 in the 10th. The A's scored once in the ninth to force extra innings and added two runs in the 10th to take a 4-2 lead.

Rangers reliever Alex Claudio replaced injured starter Lucas Harrell in the third inning after Harrell left with a right groin strain. Claudio held the A's down long enough for the Rangers to come back to take a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning. Claudio held the A's scoreless over four innings.

The A's loaded the bases with no outs in the first but Harrell escaped unscathed after getting a line out to short and a double play when Beltre fielded Billy Butler's grounder, touched third and threw to first to end the inning.

Jake Diekman also came in relief for the Rangers and struck out two in a perfect seventh and Jeremy Jeffress pitched a scoreless eighth. Sam Dyson blew his fourth save in the ninth as the A's tied it on Danny Valencia's single to right.

In the 10th, Keone Kela walked leadoff hitter Brett Eibner, who gave the A's a 3-2 lead on Yonder Alonzo's double to right. Alonzo scored on Ryon Healy's single to left to make it 4-2.

Beltran doubled to the left-field corner with one out in the fourth. He moved to third on Beltre's fly out to center but Odor grounded out to end the inning. A's starter Andrew Triggs left with two outs and Robinson Chirinos on second when Beltran tied it with a single to the right-field corner off Ryan Dull. Odor started the seventh with a walk and moved to third on Mitch Moreland's infield single to first. Elvis Andrus' sacrifice fly scored Odor to give Texas a 2-1 lead.
