Travelling Rangers fans have finally learned the club's allocation for the Lyon Europa League clash in France — just one week before the game.
And - .
Earlier this week Ibrox chiefs told their fans they were "frustrated" by the lack of communication from across the Channel as their numbers for the Groupama Stadium remained unclear.
Amid growing concern related to the Omicron variant of covid and rising case numbers across Europe the hold-up was eventually confirmed to be dependent of whether local police would be available to look after the travelling Gers contingent
But now Rangers have revealed 2,000 fans will be allowed in for next Thursday's showdown.

The game is of little consequence competitively with Lyon and the Glasgow giants locking down Group A's top two spots and in the hat for the UEFA knockout round draw.
But it's still sure to be an exciting encounter, although fans making the journey must submit a negative PCR or Antigen test within 48 hours of their departure.
And with non-vaccinated fans required to self-isolate for seven days, the club have urged those without both doses to stay at home.
An update to supporters read: "Rangers have today been informed that we will receive an allocation of 2000 tickets for next Thursday’s Europa League fixture against Lyon.
"Whilst we are delighted our travelling support will be able to continue to follow the team, we apologise for the delay whilst approval from the French authorities has been sought."
