Rangers fans urge Steven Gerrard to give out-of-favour star another chance

Rangers fans have urged Steven Gerrard to give Nikola Katic another chance when football returns after the coronavirus pandemic.

The defender was a mainstay in the Ibrox defence this season until he was dropped after a string of costly mistakes in a 2-2 draw against St Johnstone in February.

George Edmundon has since came into the side, partnering Connor Goldson, and Katic has found himself surplus to requirements.

But the majority of supporters believe Gerrard should keep the faith in the Croatian, who for the most part, has enjoyed a good season with Rangers.

The Light Blues faithful picked their strongest XI when everybody is available using our squad selector and believe Katic and FIlip Helander, who is currently injured, are the two best centre-halfs at the club.

Unsuprisingly, skipper James Tavernier and Borna Barisic are the prefered two in the full-back positions.

Ryan Jack, Scott Arfield and Steven Davis make up the midfield trio as Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara miss out.

The front three comprise of talisman Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and the on-loan Romanian playmaker Ianis Hagi.
