Celtic-daft politician Tommy Sheridan has told Rangers fans not to worry about his whereabouts and joked: “I’m in your head!”.
The prominent Hoops supporter was mocked by the Ibrox legions after his regular social media clips backing his side last season.
Sheridan bullishly claimed Neil Lennon’s men would win the first Old Firm derby of the season - only to go down 2-0 at Parkhead.
And he made regular appearances on his YouTube channel throughout a catastrophic season for his favourites.
He became the butt of jokes as Rangers fans revelled in their title-winning campaign and Light Blue legions have been curious at his social media absence.
But Sheridan appeared on the first episode of his new 'I'm Frank and he's Tommy' podcast alongside former Parkhead striker Frank McGarvey.
And the 55-year-old former MSP wasted no time in having a dig at Celtic’s rivals following their defeat to Dundee United on Saturday which ended a 40-game unbeaten Scottish Premiership run.
Sheridan said: “I had a big smile on my face on Saturday because a certain unbeaten run is now over – a certain bubble is now burst.
“I have to make the point Frank. Some of the bluenoses in Glasgow have a bit of concern for my health.
“I saw some posts going up on the social media and they were saying ‘Where is this man?’ and there was a picture of me.
“They were concerned about my health and I’ve got to say the bluenoses across Glasgow.. don’t worry.
“I’m fine and if you’re looking for me you don’t have to look far because I’m in your head - thanks for the rent-free existence. Not a problem.”
Sheridan bemoaned the empty stadia last season and said: “We had a set of circumstances that none of us had lived through before. What’s special about playing for Celtic is walking out surely to 60,000 fans chanting your name.
“We went from those heights to empty stadiums where many of the games had a bit of a feel of a practice match about them.”
Striker McGarvey - who spent five years at Parkhead - is pleased with the appointment of Ange Postecoglou.
He said: “As far as I’m concerned, they’ve got the right guy which is the most important thing for me, for the board to do.
“They’ve got the right manager which I’m so happy about. And I’m looking forward to seeing Celtic playing football this year.”
