Rangers fans troll Celtic with 'can you see us now' banner flying over Tannadice

Rangers fans have been enjoying their title party and continued it by trolling their old rivals as they took on Dundee United at Tannadice.

The Ibrox support have had a long decade watching Celtic lift trophy after trophy but are now within touching distance of being confirmed as champions themselves.

And a group of fans paid for a plane to fly over the City of Discovery with a message for the Celtic players and staff below.

The banner said: "Can you see us now? 55 titles".

The statement on the banner is a play on words often said by Celtic fans in recent seasons when Rangers' title challenge would fall away early.

After a good start, many fans would feel it was finally the chance for Rangers to end Celtic's dominance and that finally came this season.

Rangers players and manager Steven Gerrard enjoyed their celebrations at Ibrox yesterday after their 3-0 win over St Mirren.

The Rangers title party saw some brilliant footage appear on social media with the likes of Morelos, Jermain Defoe and Ryan Kent having their songs played inside the dressing room.

There was also footage of Connor Goldson singing 'Glasgow Rangers Champions' to fans outside the ground shortly after the full time whistle.
