Rangers fans are being urged to remember a schoolboy who passed away after losing his battle with cystic fibrosis.
Ayden Cochrane, 13, died on January 20, just days after his family won a fight to access a drug that could have saved him from the illness.
Gers supporters are now being encouraged to participate in an applause on the for the schoolboy at their home game against tomorrow night.
Ayden and his family were given new hope when he was granted a (Trikafta), despite it not being licensed in Europe and or available on the NHS.
The Johnstone native had begged drugs firm Vertex to be granted the medicine on compassionate grounds.
After his condition deteriorated on Sunday doctors placed Ayden on a ventilator, a day after he was given the news he would be offered the drug.
He sadly passed away as a result of his illness last night.
Ayden was a huge fan of and attended as many games as he could.
He was even visited in hospital by members of the first team in the run up to Christmas.
In a post on , one fan wrote: "Ayden sadly passed away today after fighting so hard for so long, was wondering if it was possible to do a round of applause on Wednesday on the 13th minute for him.
"He attended every game he could."
