Rangers fans to be refused entry at Europa League clash with Porto if too drunk

Rangers fans will be refused entry to their game with Porto next week if they are too drunk .

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has issued advice to fans ahead of the game in Portugal on Thursday October 24.

Supporters are also banned from using fireworks, flares, air horns and drums at the Europa League match.

A FCO statement said: "The authorities have the right to breathalyse on entry to the stadium and anyone they consider too drunk may be refused entry.

"No alcohol, sharp objects (including umbrellas), air horns or loudspeakers, fireworks or flares, bottles or cans, drums or video cameras in the stadium."

Other tips included looking out for pickpockets and bag snatchers at Porto’s airport, railway stations and around the town centre.
