Rangers fans tell of Brondby chaos with just TWO turnstiles for travelling fans and 'out of order' Danish police tactics

Rangers fans have told of chaotic scenes on trying to gain entry to the Brondby Stadium for their Europa League clash.

Danish riot police reportedly waded in with truncheons as the visiting support started to queue well before kick off for their Group A clash.

But supporters have told Record Sport Online that they faced a nightmare getting into the ground with just TWO turnstiles to accommodate the 1400 Visiting fans.

One, who asked not to be named, told us: “It’s an absolute shambles. There are two turnstiles for all of the Rangers fans and the supporters are understandably frustrated and the police have been out of order.”

The picture below shows the congestion that fans have faced as they try to get in to see Steven Gerrard's men.

Rangers Supporters Liaison Officer Greg Marshall had warned supporters that they would be searched prior to entry to the stadium and that there would be a ticket corridor prior to entry.

Danish police issued a warning on the eve of the match that they believed Rangers fans had obtained tickets for the home end but that they would be denied entry.

And some have already been rejected with cops telling them to meet at a specific entrance where they will be put on a train to Copenhagen.

However, @vamosDK tweeted: “Brondby rejects EVERYONE who speaks English at the entrance and yet there are 10 Rangers fans behind us.”
