Rangers fans target Scots singer with vile abuse on Twitter

A Scots singer suffered a barrage of online abuse from Rangers fans after she claimed football supporters were drunk and unruly at Glasgow Airport.

She wrote: "The worst possible time to travel through Glasgow airport.

"Unruly p****d fans of a particular football club everywhere."

She later said that Rangers fans, 'sent thousands of misogynistic, sexist, degrading, vile, bigoted hate towards me today, stigmatising mental health and messages of a threatening sexual nature, simply because I pointed out there were drunk supporters in the airport' before sharing a number of sick messages from fellow Twitter users.

One user wrote: "Shut the f*** up you stuck up cow.

"People not allowed to enjoy themselves now no?

"Reprobate."
