Rangers fans’ pavement pandemonium captured on film as pub fire alarm sees them watch winner through window

Rangers fans were forced to watch Sunday's dramatic winner over Celtic through pub windows - after a fire alarm went off inside a popular city centre bar.

Supporters of the Ibrox club were celebrating all over the country on Sunday night, following the dramatic 2-1 victory over their bitter rivals at Hampden after extra-time, which ensured a first Scottish Cup Final appearance since 2016.

However, a selection of punters were forced to witness Carl Starfelt's 114th-minute OG from outside The Auctioneers in Glasgow's Merchant City after being evacuated as a precaution.

But the untimely inconvenience certainly didn't pour cold water on the celebrations, with fans content to revel and lap up the triumph on the city streets - some still with drinks in-hand:

The semi-final success ended the Hoops' recent dominance at the national stadium of 17 consecutive wins, and is a first derby victory for manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

The Ibrox club will be back at Hampden again for the final on May 21 and will battle it out in a bid to lift a first Scottish Cup since 2009 against Robbie Neilson's Hearts.
