Rangers fans on march from Squinty Bridge to George Square as title revellers fill the city centre

Jubilant Rangers fans have filled George Square as the trophy day celebrations continue in the city centre.

Supporters gathered in the early hours of the morning outside Ibrox to clap the team in ahead of kick-off against Aberdeen.

After the 4-0 rout James Tavernier lifted the Premiership title with cheering fans and fireworks clearly heard outside of the ground.

The revellers haven't stopped there though as the title party is continuing into George Square.

Videos have emerged of thousands of fans flooding the 'Squinty Bridge' to cross the River Clyde from Govan as supporters lap up the first title win in a decade.

George Square is now packed with supporters who have been snapped letting off fireworks and flares as part of their celebrations.

Rangers supporters have gathered amid coronavirus restrictions not allowing any into the stadium to watch the game against the Dons.

The scenes have occurred despite stern warnings from the club, the Scottish Government and police against any parties due to ongoing pandemic.
