Rangers fans have painted the town red ahead of their historic trophy day as more than a 100 supporters lined the banks with flares.
Police vans have been deployed to the south of the River Clyde in Glasgow as the red flares erupted on both sides of the river near the 'squinty bridge'.
The pyrotechnics display could be seen across the city.
It comes ahead of Rangers prepare to receive their first Scottish top flight trophy in a decade.
Politicians had been calling for fans to stay within the coronavirus restrictions while celebrating the event and the club itself urged fans to stay “in their community”.
Dramatic images show the flares light up the city and the river in a coordinated stunt.
