Rangers fans launch 'Time For Change' protest aimed at Ibrox board as banners displayed at Fir Park

Rangers fans have launched their latest protest against the Ibrox board at Fir Park.

Supporters in the stand unfurled a huge banner that read 'Time For Change' that took aim at Sporting Director Ross Wilson and Managing Director Stewart Robertson. Fans also held up individual cards that displayed images of the duo inside a red circle with a line through it.

It comes just one week after Rangers fan group The Union Bears boycotted their section of Ibrox in protest after their banners were not allowed to be displayed during the Scottish Cup quarter final match against Raith Rovers. During the Premiership match against Kilmarnock the group displayed a banner claiming the club hierarchy had 'taken their eye off the ball'.

Speaking about the fans, Kris Boyd told Sky Sports: "Fans get frustrated and they then start having a go at the board. It's very difficult to stop and it seems to be growing by the week. The recruitment at Rangers has not been good enough so there has to be accountability.

"There are ways to protest and it should be peaceful. You can understand their frustration as they pay a lot of money but so do those who aren't taking part in the protests.

"But there's no doubt that something has to happen, and happen quick at the club."

On the park Michael Beale and his Rangers side are yet to taste defeat in the league under the new boss. They've shown their powers of recovery on many occasion under the 42-year-old and will need to do it once again after suffering an early set-back with Motherwell taking the lead after an excellent worked goal after just three minutes.

Celtic currently hold a nine point lead over the Light Blues in the Premiership table with Ange Postecoglou's men in action against Hibernian at Parkhead later this afternoon.

The Old Firm rivals lock horns on April 8 and will meet at Hampden three weeks later after being paired together in the Scottish Cup semi-final with Falkirk and Inverness the other last four tie at the national stadium.
