Rangers fans in Cambuslang convoy through town for 55 title celebrations

Jubilant Rangers fans in Cambuslang kicked off the title party celebrations early this morning with a mass convoy through the main street of the town.

Steven Gerrard's side will lift the Scottish Premiership trophy after today's final clash of the season at Ibrox, where they face Aberdeen in a 12:30pm kick-off.

And ahead of the highly anticipated trophy presentation - which marks the club's first top flight title in a decade - Bluenoses arranged for a convoy of cars to celebrate the momentous occasion, with a procession from New Road in Halfway through the Main Street to the Cambuslang Rangers football ground at Somervell Park.

Cars decked out in scarfs and flags made plenty of noise, tooting their horns and cheering as they made their way through the streets at 10am.

The town itself is also decked out in banners, flags and balloons to mark the occasion.

Meanwhile, thousands of fans have already descended on Ibrox this morning ahead of the big match.

And the celebrations are sure to go well into the night as the Ibrox club finally get their hands on some long-awaited silverware.
