Rangers fans will not be forced too fork out for their second leg against Alashkert, with the match to be screened live on BBC Scotland.
Despite being down to 10 men for over 45 minutes, Steven Gerrard 's side secured a 1-0 win over the Armenian champions on Thursday night.
Avoiding defeat next week would see them through to the Europa League group stage, and it's now been announced that the match will be shown live on the BBC.
While BT Sport hold the rights for the Champions League from the play-off round on and the Europa League from the group stage, individual clubs can sell the rights to their home games to the highest bidder.
For the home leg of their play-off ties both Rangers and Celtic opted to sell their matches on pay-per-view, while others have been on Premier Sports.
The second leg with Alashkert will be live on BBC Scotland though, with coverage beginning at 3.45pm.
Rangers being covered on the national broadcaster is a rarity, after a dispute going back to 2015.
The BBC's reporter Chris McLaughlin was banned from Ibrox, and they refused to send others to cover matches as a result.
