Rangers fans hail Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent after wonder goal and ‘punch’

Ryan Kent kept himself busy during Rangers’ 2-1 defeat at Celtic as the Liverpool loanee made his mark on the Old Firm Derby.

The 22-year-old Liverpool starlet joined Rangers on loan last summer for the entire season and has now scored six league goals following a sublime effort on Sunday afternoon.

Kent weaved past several Celtic defenders before a fine finish as ten-man Rangers levelled in the second half.

But still reeling from Alfredo Morelos’ first-half sending off, Celtic eventually made the extra man pay in the final stages when James Forrest bagged the 86th minute winner.

However, that didn’t stop Kent being lavished with praise for his impressive goal. Not only that, Rangers’ supporters hailed the winger for landing what looked to be a punch on Celtic captain Scott Brown, with the Liverpool loanee escaping punishment.

In reality, though, it was a mistake from Kent late on and he could be handed with a length ban for the incident.
