Rangers fans get behind 'Simply the Zest' Cadbury's chocolate bar competition

Rangers fans have launched a campaign to get make Dairy Milk bar 'Simply the Zest' a permanent edition.

Cadbury's has released three new flavours and are asking customers to vote for their favourite chocolate bar which will become available on supermarket shelves.

Ibrox fans are rallying together to vote for the bar as its name bears resemblance to the Gers anthem, 'Simply the Best'.

The competition goes live on June 3 and runs until June 29. A winner will be announced in September.

One Gers fan wasn't keen on Dairy Milks but said he'd get right behind the campaign.

He said: "I’m a galaxy man but count me in."Another said he'd need reminded when the competition goes live.

He wrote: "I'll be on holiday at the time so someone please remember to give this a bump on the 3rd!"

While a third was looking forward to tasting the orange flavoured chocolate.

He commented: "Sounds like it'll be nice. I'll vote"

It's not the first time 'Simply the Zest' has inspired Rangers fans to get behind a campaign.

Last year e-cigarette firm Vaporized ran a competition allowing supporters to name their own flavours - with 'Simply the Zest' coming out on top.

Other names chosen were StrawBarry Ferguson in honour of former skipper Barry and Tobacco The Net.
