Rangers fans George Square disorder: Police release new CCTV image of man

Detectives investigating a large-scale disturbance in George Square have released a picture of a man they want to speak to.

Investigations into the disorder which followed Rangers winning the league title on May 15 are ongoing by a dedicated team of officers.

Hundreds gathered at the square, where celebrations became disorderly and people were injured, including 47 injuries to police officers.

A CCTV image of a man they believe can assist with investigations has been released.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Anyone who may recognise him, or who has any information, is asked to contact Police via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 1048 of Saturday, 15 May, 2021. Anyone sending information can choose to remain anonymous.

"Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously."
