As Rangers fans descend upon Seville for the UEFA Europa League final tomorrow, some have questioned what will happen if the game goes to extra time and penalties.
A number of fans who have booked their flights through Barrhead Travel have taken to social media to express concern, as the main flight returning from Seville to Glasgow is scheduled for 1.50am.
With the airport being almost six miles away from the stadium, fans are worried about having to choose between missing their flight home or missing the end of a once in a lifetime game.
Stuart (@stuartreidrfc) tweeted: "So, if it goes to extra time and penalties you're talking a midnight finish. If we win and you want to see the trophy that's half 12 and you have no chance of making your flight."
Barrhead Travel has since rushed to allay customers fears with a representative for the company saying: "We definitely don't want to worry customers - if there is extra time or penalties we have additional flexibility on our departure slots to allow customers to enjoy the end of the match while still leaving time to get to the airport.
"Getting customers home is a top priority and there is staff on the ground in Seville who will be communicating any flight updates to our customers via SMS."
As well as the 1.50am flight there is another flight at 4.10am.
The travel agent has said that it cannot share accurate delay schedules, but that there is full contingency and flexibility which they say is normal for their dedicated football charters.
