Rangers fans delighted as club announce frozen season ticket prices for new campaign

Rangers have frozen their season ticket prices for next season and will launch their renewal plans next week.

Fans will have until the middle of May to renew their season tickets for next season as they look to get fans back into the stadium for the new campaign.

Rangers announced a friendly against Arsenal in July and they hope they will be able to get some supporters into Ibrox on that day.

But they are planning to have season ticket holders back for next season and after a huge backing during a campaign where they couldn't attend, they have decide to freeze prices for the new year.

It means supporters will hopefully be back in the ground as Steven Gerrard's side kick off their title defence after clinching title 55 back in March.

Supporters won't be able to attend before the end of this season but they are delighted with the fact season tickets have been frozen for the next year.

@DecCairns72 said: “Great news this. Especially when the grounds should be open for the new season. Can’t wait to see the champions once again.”

@rwm149 added: “Brilliant gesture from the champions.”

@Beesh242440265 said: “What a club.”

@belfastgirl30 added: “So chuffed with this. Glad I saved for mine over lockdown.”

@nezzi21 said: “Tremendous. 100% the right thing to freeze them and very much appreciated by the fans.”

@Wilf1872 tweeted: “ST prices frozen for next season. I’m more than happy with that.”
