Rangers fans are all saying the same thing about Tony Fitzpatrick's Celtic title verdict

Rangers fans have disputed Tony Fitzpatrick's call to hand Celtic the title, but for there to be no relegation this season.

The St Mirren chief claimed Neil Lennon's side should be awarded the league crown with their 13 point lead over their rivals as the outcome of the season remains up in the air, during the coronavirus pandemic.

But Fitzpatrick thinks it would be unfair to relegate any clubs and believes it's the ideal time to promote four teams from the Championship to form a 16-team Premiership for the next campaign.

And there is no doubt what Rangers fans were feeling about his verdict.

@eckyalston tweeted: "No relegation but give the top team the league? So that means for every league right? Wonder what team he sides with?!"

@OllieOI64259081 added: "It’s easy for him to say his club have nothing to play for."

@Nimsay1872 said: "No surprise. "

@Peasie1965 tweeted: "Rangers looked a good bet to win the League in December then went to Dubai. The season fell apart after that. Who's to say that after this lengthy spell off that Celtic won't fall apart if the season could be resumed. If this season can't be completed, then that's how it ends."

@GraemeNotMurty said: "Remember, he also thinks St. Mirren are a top four club so this isn't the most ridiculous thing he's said in the last few years."
