Rangers fans all say the same thing after Standard Liege trio test positive

Rangers fans are fearing the worst after three Standard Liege tested positive for coronavirus after the Europa League meeting on Thursday.

The Light Blues left Belgium with a 2-0 win thanks to goals from James Tavernier and Kemar Roofe.

But the Ibrox club have been put on alert as Maxime Lestienne, Eden Shamir and Abdoul Fessal Tapsoba have tested positive for coronavirus.

Lestienne started against Steven Gerrard's men, while Shamir was an unused subsititute.

And Rangers supporters are hoping their side have came out of the match unscathed, especially as the two sets of players clashed together after the full-time whistle.

@CF3Loyal added: "This can’t be good for Rangers. Only a matter of time before at least one of our players contracts Covid19."

@mmck90 tweeted: "The guy who was up in the face of Roofe should be getting absolutely hammered by UEFA for his behaviour. Unnecessarily putting our players in danger because he lost his temper."

@Wilf1872 said: "Ffs!! Hopefully there’s no knock on effect to our players."

@steve_72 added: "S***."

@_Cargill tweeted: "Lucky that they didn't get near us the whole game."
