Rangers fans all say the same thing after Dapo Mebude racist abuse claims

Rangers fans are horrified after youngster Dapo Mebude claimed his family were subjected to racist abuse.

The Ibrox academy graduate has accused 'Rangers' fans of hurling vile taunts towards his family while playing the computer game FIFA.

He said on Twitter "Some “Rangers” fans being racist towards my family over a game of FIFA.

"Go back to the cotton fields” “you’d be better with a chain in your mouth” making whipping noises."

And supporters have rallied behind the player, condemning the disgusting remarks and insist the culprits are not true Rangers fans.

@Ross90141394 said: "That is a disgrace that some so called fans has been racist towards your family, but trust me the majority of us are nothing of the sort, the real fans support the players and anyone who’s racist towards a players family isn’t a fan, chin up mate."

@RFCGW tweeted: "No Rangers fans tbh. Hope you’re all good rise above it you have what they’ll never."

@hughieblue added: "Not true Rangers fans then. We condemn that sort of thing. Everywhere, anywhere, Everyone, anyone."

@Bryce9A said: "Name and shame Dapo. No place for that behaviour at all."

@megan_1872 added: "Name n shame the b*******."

@NOTELINY I tweeted: "Firstly I'm sorry that happened to you and your family. They are not Rangers fans as they know that's not what we stand for."

Ibrox skipper James Tavernier and defender Connor Goldson have both slammed the disgusting racism they have been subjected to in the past.

Mebude is a hightly-rated youngster at the club and many believe he can eventually force his way into Steven Gerrard's plans.
