Rangers fan has Jamie O'Hara stunned as England love affair has pundit asking 'is this a wind up?"

Jamie O'Hara was left speechless after a Scottish-based Rangers fan told him he supported England over his home nation.

And the talkSPORT pundit was so sure the caller was pulling his leg, he asked him "is this Ally McCoist?"

Scotland's 3-1 defeat to Ukraine was the talk of the town on morning radio after Steve Clarke 's team went crashing out of World Cup qualification.

It was a dismal night for the Scots in front of an expectant Hampden and a deserved Ukrainian win sends them on to face Wales on Sunday.

And fans from both sides of the border were calling into O'Hara's Sports Bar show with a range of reactions to a night of drama in Glasgow.

O'Hara and fellow pundit Dean Saunders though were left scratching their heads when one caller called up claiming to be an England fan from Scotland.

"What a night!" Bob declared in a broad Scottish accent. "It couldn't have been a better start to the Jubilee weekend. Unbelievable that Ukraine put Scotland out."

O'Hara then replied: "Wait, you're an England fan but you've got a Scottish accent?"

Bob wasn't to be deterred though as he said: "I'll tell you Jamie, I'm sitting in my car driving across the border just now, down to London with my Three Lions on the shirt."

But O'Hara wasn't having it as he quizzed the caller further - joking it might have been and talkSPORT colleague Ally McCoist calling in to noise them up.

He said: "This has got to be a wind-up. Who is this, Ally McCoist?"

Bob: "I can tell you, I've been on all your stations and it's not a wind-up. I am England to the core."

O'Hara: "It sounds like Charlie Adam, is this Charlie Adam? Bob, I'm not having it."

Bob: "I was born in Scotland, I can't help that, but what I can do in life is select the team and nation I want to follow. And I've always followed England."

So it went on for a minute or so with Saunders arguing the point that Bob is free to support who he wants - before O'Hara asked who his club team was.

Bob replied: "Glasgow Rangers," as O'Hara burst into hysterics.

"You're on a wind-up, Bob," O'Hara replied.
