Rangers fan Kiara Buonomo, 7, who was given just hours to live acts as 'lucky charm' for Celtic clash

A terminally ill girl obsessed with Rangers has acted as a "lucky charm" during the club's weekend clash with Celtic.

The Ibrox side beat rivals Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox on Sunday - with little Kiara Buonomo cheering on her favourite team despite being given just hours to live just two weeks before.

The little fighter, seven, has grade IV brain cancer - a battle she has been fighting since January last year.

He wrote: "Kiara, grade IV brain cancer, palliative care, gave hours to live on the 29/4/19.

"Still has her priorities in place, cheering her team, and not lost a game since her last visit to Ibrox for a tour. Lucky charm."

Kiara, who also has a nine-year-old sister Kayla and three-year-old brother Ajay, was diagnosed with brain cancer in January last year and despite undergoing a brain operation to clear away most of the cancer, doctors told her family there is nothing more they can do.

Kiara hit the headlines last month when we revealed that a twisted troll was targeting the dying youngster and her family with horrific abuse.

Her family have posted an online account documenting her brave fight for survival but have become the target of a series of grossly offensive posts.

Mum Natasha, 30, said: “It’s sickened us. We have enough to think about without the extra stress of this.

“A couple of weeks after Kiara was diagnosed in January last year, we began to receive pictures on Snapchat saying ‘hurry up and die’ and they told us we were wasting NHS money.

“They were calling Kiara ugly when she is clearly beautiful.”

Messages sent included a picture of Kiara with the caption: “Am dying yasss hurry up this time f* sake yous will never have to hear ma mongo horrible voice again.”

Another upsetting message said: “Ugly c*** Kiara will be deed soon.” The messages have continued over the last 12 months and have now become more sexually explicit in nature.
