Rangers face James Graham transfer fight after agreeing fee for Manchester United trialist

Rangers face a fight with top English sides to land Ross County wonderkid James Graham despite having a bid accepted for the teenage starlet.

MailSport can reveal the Ibrox club have agreed a fee with the Staggies for the 16-year-old frontman but have so far failed to agree personal terms.

Leeds United are also interested in Graham along with Wolves for a player who had trial stints at Liverpool and Manchester United last year.

Rangers are keen on the Lewis-born hitman who has earned rave reviews for his displays in the Ross County youth ranks but any deal now lies in agreeing personal terms.

Meanwhile, the Ibrox side are have sealed their £4m deal for Ianis Hagi - according to Romanian super agent Giovani Becali

He said: "Ianis has just signed for one of the most important clubs in Europe. The deal is complete.

"I would describe Rangers as the Juventus of Scotland. I understand completely why Ianis has chosen to sign for them.

"They are an extraordinary club.

"The most important thing is that Rangers have carried out their option to buy him and he now has peace of mind about his future for the next few years.

"He has done very well at Rangers, but there was always the worry that they wouldn't want to sign him up.

"But I know he has a very good contract there in Glasgow and this is a really smart move for him."
