Hamilton boss Brian Rice admits he has to do better after a record-breaking defeat to Rangers at Ibrox today.
Doubles from James Tavernier, Kemar Roofe and Joe Aribo as well as goals from Scott Arfield and Brandon Barker ensured a humiliating 8-0 loss.
The horror show overtakes the previous record loss for Accies in the top tier, that came in the 8-1 trouncing at to Celtic back in 2016.
Following the thrashing, Rice was brutally honest in verdict on the New Douglas Park strugglers.
Rice said: "We can only get better, stronger and more determined. For every set-back and disaster you have to improve and learn from it.
"You do one of two things; you can sit and let good teams come at you and they score early and you need to change things, or you try to do something up the other end of the pitch.
"It wasn't because we had two strikers today that we lost, it's because we couldn't defend, it's because we made mistakes and lost three goals in four minutes.
"The first goal kills us. It's a stupid goal but that's been the story.
"I don't like making excuses, but I struggled to put a team on the pitch today. It was really really difficult coming here today.
"We are down there, we are bottom of the league for a reason, the only was is up but you've got to want to go up.
"I'll take the blame for it, I'll hold my hands up. I've got to be better and they've got to be better."
