Rangers are ranked in 206th place in the European coefficient before this campaign kicks off.

The Scottish Premiership side will look to continue their good record in the qualifying stages under Gerrard, after reaching the Europa League group stages last season, missing out on qualification to the round of 32.

Villareal and Rapid Wien secured their places after finishing in the top two, as the Glasgow side finished third in Group G, above Spartak Moscow.

The second leg is pencilled in to be played on Thursday, July 18 at Ibrox.

The Europa League final will be held at Stadion Energa Gdańsk on 27 May 2020.
