Rangers defender Nikola Katic suffers painful injury setback on Croatia duty

Rangers defender Nikola Katic appears to have suffered a broken nose on international duty.

The centre-back helped steer Croatia to a 1-0 win over Denmark at the U-21 European Championships in Italy on Wednesday.

Katic was withdrawn after 62 minutes, assumedly after suffering the painful injury and took to social media to show off his war wounds afterwards.

The 22-year-old's nose was heavily strapped up and he could now be a doubt for Tuesday's clash with Romania.

There's been no word as yet on the extent of the damage but looked in good spirits as he posted an image of the aftermath on his Instagram story.

Meanwhile, Rangers have revealed ticket details their upcoming pre-season friendlies at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard 's side will play Oxford United, Marseille and Blackburn Rovers ahead of the Premiership season.

Fans have received an email breaking down prices and adults will pay just £10 to watch the opener against Oxford, with kids and concessions only a fiver.

Tickets for the game against the Ligue 1 side and Tony Mowbray’s Championship outfit are £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for kids.
