Rangers defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo is set to make his long-awaited return to action after being named in the starting XI for the Glasgow Cup final against Celtic at Firhill Stadium.
This marks Kasanwirjo’s first appearance for the Gers since November of last year, when a serious knee injury sidelined him for an extended period.
The 23-year-old is on-loan from Dutch side Feyenoord, with Rangers having an option to buy the full-back in the summer.
He made 12 appearances before sustaining the long-term injury setback while on international duty with the Netherlands Under-21s side, and tonight is a major step towards being reintroduced into Barry Ferguson's first team over the coming weeks.
Rangers' youngsters are looking to retain the Glasgow Cup after their thrilling 3-2 victory over Celtic last year.
