Rangers daft pair drive 36 hours to watch Europa League clash against Red Star Belgrade

Two dedicated Rangers fans have arrived in Serbia for tonight's Europa League clash against Red Star Belgrade.

But it wasn't the usual journey you'd expect that John and Jack from Kilmarnock travelled... they drove a whopping 36 hours to get to the Serbian capital.

They travelled across a number of European countries rather than jumping on a plane, and with just one of them able to drive it was quite the journey.

The Glasgow side take a 3-0 advantage into the second leg, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.

The pair told Clyde Superscoreboard: "It took us 36 hours in total, that included us stopping for three or four hours for a wee nap.

"We went over to France, through Belgium, over the border of Holland, into Germany, cut across Austria, into Hungary.

"We then ended up going through Kosovo, up over the border into Bosnia, and we arrived at the Hilton in Serbia.

"It was a one-man-band, only one of us can drive. We were singing and that kept us entertained."
