Rangers have confirmed the signing of Rafael Fernandes on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy.
The 22-year-old central defender joins the Ibrox club from French top-flight side Lille, becoming Philippe Clement's first January arrival.
Fernandes initially started out at Sporting CP in Portugal, where he rose through the academy ranks before joining Arouca on a free transfer in 2022.
He impressed as much for the club that he earned his move to France in January last year, although, up to this point, it hasn't worked out.

Now, Fernandes, who has played five times for his country's under-20s, has a fresh opportunity to impress in Scotland.
Rangers have their injury issues at central defence, with John Souttar and Dujon Sterling still out.
While Leon Balogun returned midweek against Aberdeen, Fernandes' arrival provides a timely boost ahead of upcoming matches against Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup and Manchester United in the UEFA Europe League.
