Rangers have confirmed loan co-operation agreements with Queen’s Park and Alloa Athletic.
This initiative, introduced last year, aims to support the development of academy players. The agreement allows players aged 16 to 21, eligible for the Scotland national teams, to move between Rangers and the partner clubs throughout the season.
This provides more flexibility than the usual domestic loan arrangements. Alloa Athletic continues its relationship with Rangers, after a successful partnership last year, which saw Calum Adamson, Lewis Stewart, and Josh Gentles gain experience with the League One side.
Stewart's time with Alloa proved particularly fruitful, earning him Player of the Year and Fans’ Player of the Year awards. He was also included in a Europa League matchday squad for Rangers.

Adamson also made over 30 appearances for Alloa and was involved in Rangers' first-team squads in domestic and European competitions.
David McCallum, interim head of academy, said: "We’re really excited to enter into a loan co-operation agreement with Queen’s Park for the first time while also building on last season’s successful partnership with Alloa Athletic.
"The co-operation system allows us to move our young players back and forward so they get a varied experience between competitive football while also maintaining their contact with the first-team and competing to play as a young Rangers player."
He added: "Throughout their loan spells, our players will continue to have regular contact with our staff, while Brian Gilmour will work closely with both clubs and the players to monitor their progress, provide ongoing support and ensure every loan is delivering the right development opportunities."
