Rangers have confirmed when they expect Filip Helander to return from injury.
The Swede was stretchered off during the second half of Saturday's 1-0 win against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
It looked like a serious injury and Steven Gerrard confirmed in his press conference that they would be without him "for the foreseeable."
But Rangers have now put a firm timeline on his recovery as they expect him back by December.
They wrote in a statement: "Rangers can confirm that defender Fil Helander will be missing until December after knee surgery.
"We wish him well in his recovery."
In better news, Connor Goldson will be back and available for Rangers against Lyon on Thursday despite fears he may be stuck in isolation.
He'll likely partner Leon Balogun as Gerrard's team look to get their Europa League group stage campaign off to a flying start.
