Rangers have demanded action be taken after a rival supporter mocked the Ibrox disaster during last night's match against Dundee United.
Footage online appeared to show a man in the away section gesture towards the home support regarding the tragedy.
A video on social media appeared to reveal the man holding up six fingers and then repeating a ten-finger gesture six times before pointing to the ground at Ibrox.
In 1971, 66 Rangers supporters lost their lives at Ibrox after a stadium crush at a derby game with Celtic.
A Rangers spokesperson said: “It is deeply upsetting that once again, an incident like this has occurred.
"As the club has stated before, the Ibrox disaster remains the darkest day in our club’s history and continues to affect a number of families to this day.
“The mocking and celebration of any tragedy is abhorrent, and has no place in any football stadium or society as a whole.
"The club urges the justice system to take the appropriate action over these matters.”

The statement comes just days after Rangers officials blasted a Celtic supporter who appeared to reference the tragedy in a taunt to those in the home support.
A Celtic spokesperson said: "We have investigated the matter. Clearly we condemn such conduct and the club has taken the appropriate action with regards to this individual."
The incident was also condemned by Rangers at the weekend: "The Ibrox disaster remains the darkest day in our club’s history and continues to affect a number of families to this day," a spokesperson said.
"The mocking and celebration of any tragedy is abhorrent, and has no place in any football stadium or society as a whole."
