Rangers complete Ianis Hagi deal according to reports in Italy

Rangers have completed the signing of Ianis Hagi on a permanent deal according to reports in Italy.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport say the Ibrox club have secured the services of the 22-year-old playmaker on a long-term contract.

The paper note that a fee of €5 million has been agreed with parent club Genk for the permanent transfer of the Romanian, with Rangers beating off competition from Lazio for his signature.

As yet, no confirmation of the signing has been made by Rangers.

Hagi joined Steven Gerrard's side on a six-month loan with an option to buy on January 31.

One day later, he made his first appearance for the club as a substitute in a goalless draw with Aberdeen.
