Rangers braced for Ryan Kent transfer bid as Leeds 'could return' with fresh approach

Rangers are braced for a fresh bid from Leeds for winger Ryan Kent, according to a report.

Kent has struggled for form this season but the former Liverpool man remains highly rated - both at Ibrox and south of the border.

Leeds have long been linked with a move and had a bid thrown out last summer.

Since then he's gone from strength to strength, scoring 13 goals and registering 15 assists to fire Steven Gerrard's team to the Premiership title last season.

But he has tailed off so far this season as Rangers struggle to rediscover the form that led them to become the earliest champions in Scottish football history.

Despite that, interest in Kent remains and the Daily Mail are reporting that they have all but given up hope of signing Club Brugge's Noa Lang.

And they say Rangers are fearing the setback could lead them back to the trail of Kent who has long been a subject of Marcelo Bielsa's admiration.

Gerrard has admitted each of his players have a price but it would likely take a substantial bid to lure Kent away now - especially with such little time left in the window to source a replacement.
