Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has signed a new deal which will keep him in the helm at Ibrox until the summer of 2024.
The club announced the news that the former Liverpool legend had accepted a new contract this morning (Friday, December 13).
A tweet from the official Rangers Twitter account read: "Rangers FC is today delighted to announce manager Steven Gerrard has agreed a two-year extension which will keep him at Ibrox until the summer of 2024.
Steven’s backroom staff, Gary McAllister, Michael Beale, Tom Culshaw, Colin Stewart, Jordan Milsom, Mark Waller, Scott Mason and Graeme Stevenson have also renewed their contracts at the club.
The news comes after Gerrard's side secured their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League following a 1-1 draw against BSC Young Boys - ensuring European football returns to Ibrox beyond Christmas for the first time since 2010-11.
