Rangers boss Steven Gerrard says stars must be 'inventive' against Hamilton

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard says he expects Hamilton to have a go and that his players will need to be 'inventive' in Sunday's New Douglas Park showdown.

The sides meet for the third time this season, with Rangers thumping Accies 8-0 at Ibrox back in November, and winning 2-0 at New Douglas Park in August.

Gerrard takes his side into the game looking to stretch their lead over Celtic at the top of the Premiership, with their rivals playing at Motherwell on Saturday.

At the club's press conference earlier today Gerrard said: "I can't predict Hamilton's game-plan but they normally have a go and play with energy.

"I'm sure at times we will face a block and we look to our creative players to be inventive.

"There are different ways to cause teams problems and that is my full focus."
