Rangers boss Steven Gerrard inducted into Premier League Hall of Fame

Steven Gerrard's incredible year continues to go from strength to strength after the Rangers boss was inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

The Gers gaffer is still fresh from celebrating collecting the Premiership title at Ibrox, his first senior trophy as a manager, as well as collecting a hat-trick of personal awards following a fantastic season in the Scottish top-flight.

But it's from England where his latest accolade has arrived, after Gerrard was recognised for his incredible on-field displays for boyhood club Liverpool.

Earlier this week, Frank Lampard and Dennis Bergkamp joined the elite group of Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer and Roy Keane - and earlier this morning it was revealed Gerrard was next in line to be honoured.

During a glittering 17 years at Anfield, Gerrard established himself as one of the best players on the planet, and undoubtedly one of the best British players in the modern era.

He somehow failed to win the Premier League during his stellar career but his lung-bursting displays, outrageous long-range strikes and inspiring performances are more than enough to ensure Gerrard's place among the English game's greatest ever players.
