Rangers have provided their supporters with a timeline surrounding Danny Rohl's exit at the club, viewing his departure as an "opportunity" rather than a "disruption.
The club met with the Fan Advisory Board (FAB) on July 21, where the two parties discussed a variety of issues, both on and off the pitch.
Early in the proceedings, as detailed in the meeting minutes, members of the FAB asked the board to "explain" the process behind the appointment of Derek McInnes as Rangers manager, following his predecessor's departure to Red Bull Salzburg.

The club's CEO, Jim Gillespie, explained that the club's public backing for Rohl had been "genuine", though Rangers had "recognised" the overall impact of the final fixtures.
Following Salzburg's approach for Rohl, Gillespie stated that the club looked upon developments regarding the German head coach as an "opportunity", rather than a "disruption", with the board aligning with Derek McInnes as the club's "preferred candidate".
The CEO confirmed that McInnes was the only candidate for the role, underlining the fact that talks only occurred between the then-Heart of Midlothian manager and the club.
