East Kilbride completed a stunning comeback in the Lowland League against Rangers B, coming from 1-0 down with 10 men to win 2-1.
The young Rangers side moved ahead inside the opening 25 minutes with a fine finish from Tony Weston.
Kilby were on the ropes and only created a few chances of their own while their K-Park visitors sought a second goal.
But home efforts to get a goal back were dented by James Stevenson's controversial red card soon after the half-time whistle. Neil McLaughlin made sure they got back on level terms with a sweet curled effort.
Chris Erskine's strike was even better late in the second half when he curled a sumptuous effort into the Rangers net to seal a big Kilby win, who move into fourth in the Lowland League on goal difference with the win.
Heading into the match having won 10 of their last 11 matches, Chris Aitken's East Kilbride were in a good place. But this was set to be a tight affair.
A win could pull fifth-placed Kilby three points off Rangers in second, and they started with some attacking intent. Soon though, Rangers took control.
Jack Stainrod had a snapshot inside a minute for the home side but Alex Lowry responded for the Ibrox club six minutes later, striking the ball from a free-kick, but goalkeeper Conor Brennan was able to get a hand to it.
Charlie McCann then picked up the ball and drove into East Kilbride territory, but again David McCallum's side couldn't make the most of their opening.
They did on 21 minutes though. Robbie Fraser picked the ball up near the front post and completed a pass to Weston, who finished with ease.
It set Kilby back but they tried to respond through Cameron Elliot, who opened Erskine up for a header on 30 minutes, but he couldn't convert.
McLaughlin had an even better chance on 37 minutes with his head but the end result was the same as Erskine's. Rangers looked threatening on the counter-attack.
Only an incredible save by Brennan on 42 minutes prevented the game going 2-0, Weston connecting well with a cross before the EK keeper somehow got a hand to it.
Erskine almost provided a smash and grab on the counter, twisting in and out of the Rangers defence before his effort deflected wide of the post.
East Kilbride managed to get to half-time with the score down, but knowing they needed much better in the second half if they were to clinch a key victory.
Gregg Wylde had a go in the 48th minute but his effort curled over the bar. Their efforts took a hit on 50 minutes as the experienced Stevenson was sent off for apparent language towards the referee.
It made life even more difficult for Kilby, who were far from happy about it, but they had hope on the 62nd minute. McLaughlin did well to fashion some space for himself on the right of the box and curled into the bottom corner.
Arron Lyall's 66th minute effort to put Rangers back ahead was straight at Brennan, who had performed excellently on the day.

If McLaughlin's goal wasn't enough for Kilby, Erskine's effort certainly caught the eye. Great work from James Finlay found Erskine, with the experienced midfielder lobbing the ball high and into the net from at least 25 yards out.
Rangers were rattled and Leon King tried to get them back into things seven minutes from time, but his effort was tame and dealt with.
Cole McKinnon's effort on 87 minutes looked destined to be a second Rangers strike but Brennan again stood tall and denied another certain goal.
